San Antonio’s Official July Fourth Celebration

This event is an all-day celebration at Woodlawn Park. It is the biggest Fourth of July event in San Antonio, Tx! It features Carnival games, food, and a full day of live music. The whole family can take part in park-wise activities and games. Begin the 4th of July with a 5K run in the morning if you’re up for it. Later, the day-long celebration will close out with a “mammoth” firework show over the lake after dark. People come from all over the area to catch a glimpse of this incredible show. Parking is historically a nightmare, so make sure to arrive early or take an Uber! Also, don’t forget to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and your patriotic attitude.

Although The Alamo is a completely different historical event, it is still a powerful symbol of a fight for independence. That makes The Alamo a perfect backdrop for a 4th of July celebration! This historical and educational event will host readings of the Declaration of Independence, historical reenactments, and even demonstrations of musket firing. The Alamo Hall patio will be handing out free paletas, and Bexar Bones Trombone Quartet will be providing live music throughout the day. Come visit 300 Alamo Plaza from 9 am to 4 pm in independence day to be a part of this historical celebration.

Fourth of July Artisan River Walk Boutique

For a few days before the 4th of July, San Antonio’s River Walk will be home to some of the finest local artisans. They’ll be selling special pieces of jewelry, pottery, and fine art. Leon Valley Festival and Fireworks Spectacular

Leon Valley’s all day Fourth of July Party takes place at Raymond Rimkus Park. This event will feature a day full of good old-fashioned American fun! Activities will include a carnival, pony rides, and Leon Valley’s 23rd Annual Fourth of July Parade. Try the different foods from over 20 different food vendors. Get your taste buds ready, because there will be everything from barbecue to Philippine cuisine!

A firework finale will take place at dusk to unite us all in our mutual love for the festive explosions and bright colors. There will be plenty of parking available, but a shuttle service will be offered as well. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about tackling the long route to and from your vehicle!
